Comics are becoming more and more fashionable, haven't you noticed? Topshop has even dedicated an entire collection to this colourful world that inspired Lichtenstein in painting his artworks too.

And then, what are you waiting for? For the girls who aren't afraid to dare, there are comic book wedges, night sets to feel special when you're sleeping too, and even ballon-shaped bandages; for the more moderate ones, one detail can be enough: the ballon earrings or the comic strip watch, to add a touch of colour to a total black look... and you too will feel a little like Supergirl!

Alice in Wonderland has always been a source of inspiration for the fashion world (in the picture above, Natalia Vodianova portraited by Annie Leibovitz for the Vogue America issue of December 2003), but with the Tim Burton's remake out in the cinemas there's been an explosion of citations, with hair ribbons, red roses and themed patterns; even Swarovski, with the collaboration of Disney, has brought out a limited edition jewerly collection entirely inspired by the Lewis carroll fairytale: rings, earrings, but above all, necklaces in the shape of hearts, flowers and...cakes. Yes, exact, the new tendency in jewelry is cake-shaped charms.

With the hot season coming there is something else hot to come: the "Sex and The City 2" movie, inspired by the namesake TV series. And what theme could be better than SATC to inaugurate this blog? I'm pretty sure you all adored Carrie and her friends' stories and, most of all, their clothes. SATC's fashion style is one I feel very suitable to me because it's chic but never banal: there's always a particular that turns every outfit in something special (sometimes even too much :D).
And, by the way, have you noticed the dress in which Carrie shows herself in the new movie trailer? White, mid-long, low-necked enough to enhance every kind of female figure, it's simply wonderful...I love that kind of dresses because you can satisfy your whims with accessories creating a different style every time.

Con l'arrivo della bella stagione si avvicina anche la data dell'uscita in Italia del sequel del fortunatissimo film "Sex And The City", ispirato all'omonima serie televisiva. E quale argomento migliore per inaugurare questo blog, se non SATC? Sono sicura che anche voi, come me, avete adorato le storie di Carrie e le sue amiche e, soprattutto, i loro vestiti! Personalmente quello di SATC è uno stile che sento molto mio, perchè è chic ma mai banale: c'è sempre qualche elemento che rende ogni outfit speciale (a volte anche troppo :D). E, a proposito di speciale, non so se avete notato l'abito in cui Carrie si (ri)presenta nel trailer del nuovo film: bianco, lungo al ginocchio, scollato quel tanto che basta per valorizzare qualsiasi tipo di figura, è semplicemente meraviglioso...adoro questo tipo di abiti perchè ci si può sbizzarrire con gli accessori creando ogni volta stili diversi.
